Elementary Instrumental Demo NightAll elementary schools, Grades 3, 4 and 5 beginning instrumental students and parents may attend any of the 3 dates offered below: 

September 18; 7:00 p.m. at William Allen 
September 19; 7:00 p.m. at Dieruff
September 20; 7:00 p.m. at Trexler 
 
ASD high school and middle school bands will participate in Allentown Halloween Parade, October 15, 2:00 p.m.

21st Century Tutoring

21cclc-logo-jpg.jpgThe ASD Grants and Development Department has garnered $5.4 million through 21st Century Community Learning Center grants to be dispersed over the next few years to Central, Cleveland, Ramos, Jackson ECC, Jefferson, Mosser, Sheridan, Union Terrace and Washington, Harrison-Morton, Dieruff and Newcomer Academy for the 21st Century Tutoring Program.

The program provides homework help, tutoring in reading and math, and STEAM academic enrichment activities four days a week (Monday – Thursday) for three hours after school. Students who participate will also be provided dinner. Click here for details.
