Allentown's Academy of Information Technology prepares students with the knowledge and services to tackle the technical challenges of the 21st Century.  In addition to education in the classroom, the Academy coordinates real-life opportunities with leading area businesses to enhance employability in a global environment or preparation for post-secondary education.

Program

Students with interests in computer networking, graphics, programming, computer applications, electronics or robotics engage in an interdisciplinary technology-based theme.  Courses in technology are combined with core courses in English, math and social studies to reinforce preparation for immediate employment or more advanced education.  The Academy includes internship opportunities, access to mentors, and work toward industry certifications.

 All Academy students interact with leading career professionals in the area and intern in modern facilities with state-of-the-art equipment.
