Rick Cabrey, Head Swim Coach
|
Rick swam for Radnor High School
and played Water Polo at Penn State University. He hold a degree in
Health and Physical Education from Penn State. He has taught swimming to
various age groups, from babies through college age. Rick has been
coaching in the Lehigh Valley since 1980. This is his 11th year coaching
at William Allen High School. Professionally, Rick has been in the
landscape industry for over 20 years and is currently an Estate
Gardener. Married for 29 years, Rick has a lovely wife and two terrific
sons. And a dog!

Lizz was a diver for Allen High School for two years. She was also an assistant gymnastics coach at Allen for three years. She taught gymnastics and swimming at the YW/YMCA for several years. This is her second year coaching diving at Allen. Lizz worked as a secretary in the Allentown School District for 13 years, attending Cedar Crest College at night. She graduated with a degree in Psychology and Elementary Education. Currently, she is teaching 4th grade at Mosser Elementary School. |

Marlo Smurda, Assistant Swim Coach
|
Marlo Smurda swam for Whitehall High School for four years. She
went on to continue her swimming career at East Stroudsburg
University for another four years. She graduated East Stroudsburg
University with a duel degree in Secondary Education and History.
This is her first year coaching at Allen. Marlo has instructed swim
lessons for six years in Whitehall Township, and has instructed at
the East Stroudsburg University Swim Camp 2005-2006
