Learning Zone   

There will be no snack provided during Learning Zone this year.

5-7 students to 1 teacher ratio

Each teacher has their own group; no teachers are paired-up.

First grade teachers are split among third and fifth grade.

Second Grade: The student in these learning zone classes are working in the Investigations Math Program.  Parents and Guardians are invited to learn the program and aid their children in the learning process on the following dates...October 25, November 29, January 24, February 28, April 25, and May 9.

Third Grade:  The students in these learning zone classes are using a PSSA practice book called "Measuring Up".  There is one for Reading and another for Math.

Fourth Grade:  Two classrooms are working on Reading Comprehension.  Two classrooms are working on Writing strategies.  And one classroom is working on open-ended Math responses.

Fifth Grade:  The students in these learning zone classes are using a PSSA practice book called "Measuring Up".  There is one for Reading and another for Math.
