Recommended Books

The following books have been
recommended by Mrs. Bichovsky-Thomas to read as a family.
1. I Love You the
Purplest by Barbara M. Joosse
This story is about two brothers
who each want their mom to love them the best. She has a wonderful way in making
both boys feel special.
2. The True Story of
the Three Little Pigs by Jon Scieszka
The truth is hard to find when
two people have different stories. Listen to the Wolf's version of the
Three Little Pigs. Who do you believe?
3. Wolf! by
Becky Bloom
Reading is power. Reading
is hard work. Learning to read takes time and patience. The Wolf in
this story learns that reading can open the door to adventure and friendship.
4. Eggbert the
Slightly Cracked Egg by Tom Ross
All people (and foods) are
different. How do we act when people treat us differently? Read to
find out how an egg handles being asked to leave his home because he is
different. He learns that being the same as everyone else is not what it's
"cracked up to be."
