English Proficiency Levels
Level 1:
Children at this level are at the very beginning of the process of learning
English. Except for a word here or there, they are able to understand little or
no English and not yet able to speak it at all.
Level 2:
Children at this level are able to understand varying amounts of everyday
English. Children in this level are able to produce some English. However, they
cannot yet use the language to communicate their thoughts and opinions.
Level 3:
Children at this level can make themselves understood by using a combination of
simple speech, gestures, and an occasional word from their native language.
Level 4 ( Tutorial):
Children at this level have little difficulty communicating their ideas in
English. They control a number of basic grammatical structures, including some
grammatical endings.
