Welcome to the Read180 class page! The purpose of Read180 is to improve students reading & writing skills. The classroom environment is designed for student engagement and active learning. There are three centers for small groups to rotate into. There is the computer station where students work on Read180 software that work on students fluency, comprehension. There is the independent reading where students read books basef off their reading level. And finally there is small group instruction where students receive an extension, or mini lesson from various texts. All of these components work together for more indivualized instruction to help improve reading & writing skills.
