  Welcome to 7th grade reading.  This year we will be concentrating on reading four novels throughout the school year: Frankenstein, Freak the Mighty, Don't You Dare Read this Mrs. Dunphrey, and We Beat the Street. Throughout the novels we will be focusing on comprehension, fluency, decoding skills and vocabulary skills.

   In addition, as part of every marking period students are required to complete a book report project.  Students will be reading an independent reading book of their choice throughout the week.  This book can be used for the book report project.
