Announcements:

  • Student Success Manual Forms/templates are available on the resources page--more coming soon!
  • Welcome to the new website. This professional learning community was created as part of an applied learning theory class I took  to complete my administrative certificate. Student- or learner-centered instruction to increase student cognitive engagement  is a special interest of mine. Please take some time to look around on the site. It is designed to help administrators, coaches, and teachers design, implement, and evaluate student-centered, cognitively and metacognitively-active classrooms in order to better serve the needs of our students.
  • Check out this activity to use as a guide through the website.
  • Special thanks to Dr. Jack McGovern at the BCIU for his guidance in this class.
  • Special thanks to Jen Jakl for sharing her wonderful collection of materials.
