- Journals will be collected periodically during the school year and will
be evaluated according to the following Rubric scale:

images, communicates well with viewer, strong insight, very good effort. |

Satisfactory |
Inconsistent journal entries, limited use of materials,
technique is developing, not many original ides (mostly assignments),
images tend to be weak and do not communicate well with viewer, subject
matter limited, some reflection evident, acceptable effort. |

Unsatisfactory |
Very few journal entries, all are assignments, very
little original work / mostly copied, materials limited to pen/ pencil,
artwork lacks original thought, work shows no reflection, weak or poor
effort. |
