ART
MISSION STATEMENT
My
mission as an art teacher is to develop a positive attitude within the hearts and minds of
the students at the Sheridan Elementary School by using art as a vehicle for their
success. By challenging the students to creatively solve problems,
to be responsible for their own development
of basic drawing skills, and by my creating an environment conducive to successful
learning, the students will develop the skills and tools necessary for successful living.
By integrating art, as much as possible, with reading, science, history and math, the
students will begin to understand the value and importance art plays in their daily lives.
