1. Any student arriving late to school will earn a detention the following school day.
2. Any 8th grade student who gets overnight, in school, or out of school suspension will not be allowed to attend the farewell dance in June.
3. Community Bike Works has room in its programs. If you are interested, please see Ms. Nugent at the Community School Office for a permission slip. These programs are held at the Community Bike Works location at 235 N. Madison Street in Allentown, Monday - Thursday 6-8pm.
4. During the week of June 20th - June 25th there will be an overnight summer program at the DeSales University campus called the Dreams Program. More information and permission slips can be picked up from the Community School Office.
5. There will be no HOPE program this week. The program will resume on Tuesday March 16th.
6. Lollipops are on sale in rooms 212 and 209 after-school at a price of 2 lollipops for $1.00.
7. The annual Student vs. Faculty basketball game is today after school.
8. The Garden Club meetings will be held on Friday’s from 3:15 – 4:15 in room 208, with the first meeting being this Friday, March 12. Permission slips are outside of rooms 200 or 208. You must bring your signed permission slip to the first meeting. Any questions please see Ms. Figueroa or Ms. Tilton.
9. Youth Education in the Arts is looking for students from all 4 middle schools to be members of the Color Guard! If you are interested, pick up a permission slip in the main office.
10. Any student who still needs a physical. There will be physicals being done here at South Mountain during the day on Monday, March 15th. You must have a parent sign the physical form to receive a physical.
Just a reminder, cell phones are not to be taken out for use of any kind until you leave the building or they will be confiscated
