An Alternative In Learning
VISTA is an alternative education program that provides an opportunity to serve students whose at-risk or disciplinary behaviors are disruptive to the learning process.

The VISTA program, in collaboration with the student, parents, and the community, will:

Admission
A student in grades seven through twelve may be recommended by his/her home school based upon a review of the student's school performance. An intake meeting is scheduled by a VISTA staff representative.
Reintegration/Graduation
Students are periodically evaluated to determine eligibility to either return to the home school, enter an appropriate alternative educational program, or complete their academic requirements at VISTA and obtain an Allentown School District diploma.
