Notes
Gamma Team meets period 3 in C30 at Lehigh Street
If your child is absent, please call 484-765-5007
on the day of the absence. Provide the student's name, grade
and homeroom.
Upon the student's return to school, the
student must submit a written excuse, signed by a parent or guardian
to their homeroom teacher.
Excuses are needed for absences even if a
call to the school was made. Absences without a written excuse turn
illegal after three days.

Meet the Teachers
Morris Smith
English
Morris graduated from Mansfield University
of PA and earned his master's degree from St. Mary's
University in Texas. He was a seminarian in Vatican City and
worked in the computer, funeral home and trade industries
before coming to Allen.

Allison Hausman
Guidance
Allison is a graduate of Allen High School, Cedar Crest College
and Lehigh University. Before completing her counseling degree she worked for
Allentown School District in the ELECT Program.

Brett Assise
Social Studies
Brett is a graduate of Penn State University with a
Bachelor of Arts in History. Brett also earned a Master of Science in
Secondary Educaiton from the Uiversity of Pennyslania and is currently
working on his second master's degree from Kutztown University.
Prior to coming to Allentown, Brett worked as a Social Studies teacher
at Chichester High School for three years.

Corey
Cowen
Biology
Corey is the Coordinator of the Health Science Academy. He
originally worked as a marine biologist, and transitioned into
teaching in 1995.

Katherine Perkins
Algebra
Katherine graduated from Moravian College
with a Bachelors degree in mathematics. Prior to teaching at Allen,
she worked in banking.

Team Leader
Jeffrey is a graduate of Whitehall High School, Mansfield
University and Lehigh University. He has been at Allen for
almost six years. Jeffrey has spent over nineteen years
involved in Social Services and kids.
