S.A.D.D.

Students Against Destructive Decisions (S.A.D.D.) meets every other Tuesday.

The S.A.D.D. chapter is open to all students. Anti-drug, violence & discrimination activities will be explored using prevention & intervention techniques.

William Allen S.A.D.D. participates in monthly training sessions as a member of the Lehigh Valley High School Advisory Board.

Some activities for 2003-2004 included
  • Posting anti-smoking signs throughout school
  • Won prize money in Valley-wide SADD event
  • Planned, organized, and produced, along with St. Luke's Trauma Center, Sober Today, Alive Tomorrow (STAT), an event that brought together
    • City Police
    • EMT units
    • Fire Department
      and many community volunteers.

 

Last year we
  • participated at Fun Fair (Bangor HS)
  • organized the WAHS Talent Schow
