SENIORS: 4Sight testing for graduation begins on Monday, March 15th. If you are on the list, your attendance is important. The Reading and Writing Tests are Monday through Wednesday. The Math Tests are Thursday through Monday. The make-up day is Tuesday, March 23rd. Tests will be administered in the cafeteria annex during periods 2 and 3. Be sure to check the lists each morning to see if you are scheduled to test. Good luck!
Attention: All students involved in the William Allen Construction Company for 2009-2010. Please note that the next meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 16th, during 5th period (12:25-1:15 PM). PLEASE report to your 5th period teacher for attendance purposes before attending the meeting. The location of the meeting is in the library.
The Latino Leadership Club will be participating in the 18th Annual Latino Student Leadership Conference at West Chester University tomorrow Saturday, March 13th. For all students attending the conference there will a brief meeting today after school with Mr. Surita in Room 212L.
The Latino Leadership Club cordially invites you to attend our 2nd Annual “Noche De Gala” at the Holiday Inn Center City Allentown on Saturday, April 10th 2010 from 6:00pm to 11:00pm. Tickets are now on Sales. For more information, please see Mr. Surita in Room 212L.
Tickets for the spring 2010 Main Stage Musical, “RENT: student edition” by Jonathan Larson, are now on sale in room 3G and the Main Office. Seating is General Admission and prices are STUDENTS (18 AND UNDER) $5.00 & ADULTS $10.00. Tickets are selling quickly so buy yours in advance. Show dates are March, 25, 26, 27 @ 7:00 pm. Register to walk with team Canary Spectrum in this year Walk Now for Autism on April 17th at Lehigh Parkway. If interested please see Tonya Krautsack or Samantha Lewis in room 219L/ 221L. Last year we had 25 team members and we hope to double that this year!
All 9th-11th grade students interested in receiving information and applying into the DeSales Summer DREAMS Program must see Ms. Riga in guidance by March 19th.
The William Allen Dance Academy Concert entitled Autobiography will be held tonight Friday March 12th and tomorrow night Saturday March 13th in the auditorium. Tickets are $4.00 in advance and $5.00 at the door. You can purchase tickets from Miss Blanco in room 109A, Ms. Schubert in 10L or in the main office. See you there!
The athletic office will be accepting orders for Varsity Letter Jackets. Monday March 15 is the last day. A list of those winter sport athletes that earned a varsity letter is posted in the athletic office window. All orders and money are due in the athletic office by March 15.
The American Legion is sponsoring a Pennsylvania State Police Youth Week at York College this summer. The dates are June 13-19. This is for 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students. See Mrs. Toth in guidance for more details.
Junior boys who are interested in government: Shippensburg University is sponsoring Keystone Boys State Week June 20-26. See Mrs. Toth in guidance for more details.
If you like the outdoors and are interested in pursuing that as a career, you may be interested in ECO Camp. You must be a 10th, 11th, or12th grader and have a C grade average. Camp runs July 11-16. Only 20 students may attend. See Mrs. Toth in guidance for applications and details.
All students involved in Furlough through CIS are from here on out to report to the CAFÉ Annex at 3:30 on Mondays and Wednesdays instead of the CIS Building down the street.
Attention Faculty & Students: The STRIVE Organization will have bins available in front of the Main Office to collect clothing, canned or boxed food to help the victims of the Haitian disaster. All your help will be greatly appreciated.
