ASD students are SkillsUSA ChampionsSkillsUSA.png

A number of ASD students who attend Lehigh Career & Technical Institute (LCTI) not only participated in the SkillsUSA District 11 Championships, but earned top awards and some scholarships. Two Dieruff students took first place honors with one receiving a scholarship and ten William Allen students earned – 1 First; 2 Second; and 7 Third place – awards with one student receiving a scholarship.
 
Dieruff winners:
  • Ryen Valentin-Lopez, First Place in Advertising Design
  • Adriana Perez, First Place in Automotive Refinishing and a $10,080 scholarship from Automotive Training Center
William Allen winners:
  • Maryann Rodriguez, First Place in Commercial Baking
  • Neilyn Acosta, Second Place in Nail Care
  • Jody Ann Young, Second Place in TeamWorks Plumbing
  • Nadiah Sims, Third Place in Cake Decorating
  • Carlos Burgos, Third Place in Collision Repair Technology and a $8,400 scholarship from Automotive Training Center
  • Daliana Ortiz, Third Place in Crime Scene Investigation Team 1
  • Brianny Zaldivar, Third Place in Crime Scene Investigation Team 1
  • Cariangelie Martinez, Third Place in Graphic Communications
  • Roslyn Santana, Third Place in Masonry
  • Pedro Ortiz, Third Place in Prepared Speech
