The Allentown School District has announced that a series of meetings are being scheduled throughout the District to bring together parents/guardians/families with District Administrators, their respective School Principals and community representatives. The meetings will be regionally or neighborhood focused and offer ASD parents and guardians an opportunity to have their concerns and questions addressed, as well as discuss support services for all students and talk about working together to resolve issues.
The first session will be held for the parents and guardians of students at Raub Middle School, and Central and Union Terrace Elementary Schools on December 5 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at Raub Middle School’s Gym. Parents and guardians are invited to arrive at 5:30 p.m. to meet and enjoy light refreshments.
“We have created this venue to have a direct open line of communication with our parents and guardians,” states Dr. Gary R. Cooper, Interim Superintendent for the Allentown School District. “Our goal is to have honest conversations, answer their questions and concerns, and establish positive relationships that work toward breaking down any barriers so that we are all working together to set the stage for our students’ success.”
Throughout the school year, parents and guardians from every school in the District will be invited to attend a Conversations with Parents and Guardians for their school.
Raub Middle School is located at 102 South St. Cloud Street, Allentown.
