Student MLK Writing Contest Winners Recognized

Twelve Allentown School District students will be recognized for their award-winning essays in the District’s 31st Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Writing Contest on March 22, at 4:00 p.m., at the Lehigh County Heritage Museum, The elementary and middle-school students, their families, along with representatives from NAACP, Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum, and Allentown School District will gather at the Winner’s Reception to hear each winning student read his/her essay during the program.

The writing contest challenges students in grades 4-8 to research and write about a person whose life exemplifies the dream of Dr. King.
