Historical Fact:
Built in 1886, McKinley was
known as Public School Number 7. During the War years, the building was sold to
the county and used as a draft board center. In 1946, McKinley was reopened as
the Veteran's High School, for those veterans returning to the area. In
1950, the District bought the building back, remodeled and reopened it as an
elementary school. |
