The Allentown School District is committed to calibrating leadership and learning at all levels to meet the goal of holding our board and system leaders to the highest standards of values-driven and collaborative leadership. As outlined in our Strategic Framework, and in order to improve the governance and leadership processes, the district is continually reviewing and updating district policy. All current district policies can be found in BoardDocs. 

After going through our internal review process, the district will present the policies to various stakeholder groups to solicit meaningful feedback. Those committees include Staff, Parents/Families, and Students. 

Timeline

This committee will review new and/or proposed changes to policy. Meetings will occur on a monthly or as-needed basis to provide feedback on policy changes or updates. The district is always looking to add new members to these groups and if you are interested please use the link to sign up

The following policies are currently under review and we invite members of the community to provide feedback using this form. Recommended changes to the policy are indicated by bold red text in each document.
