Dear Learning Community:
I trust this message finds you healthy and safe. There is excitement in the air and a feeling of accomplishment as the Allentown School District nears completion of its five-year Strategic Plan.
It is heartwarming to see the community’s enthusiasm for being involved in creating improvement plans for the District. I have a deep appreciation for everyone involved in the Steering Committee and for those who participated in Focus Groups and Advisory Groups.
A completed Strategic Plan is one of the next steps in our goal of reimagining the Allentown School District as one of the highest-performing school districts in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
We will submit the completed draft of the Strategic Plan to the School Board of Directors in June 2024.
I extend my heartfelt thanks to our School Board of Directors for their unwavering support throughout our District’s Continuous Improvement Planning.
