Administrative Regulations

Per PSBA, administrative regulations contain details, procedures, forms, and letters developed and approved by school administrators to enhance effective board policy implementation.

The development of administrative regulations adds a layer of protection for ASD by ensuring consistency and clarity in administrative operations through the provision of a sound organizational structure.

Administrative Regulations provide specific details the details for carrying out policy and enforcing it and sets forth specific requirements for staff. They may also list do's and don'ts, include step by step procedures or assign specific responsibility.

Administrative Regulations are not job descriptions, plans, handbooks or contracts.

In ASD, as policy moves through the introduction and reading by the board, the administration is simultaneously developing regulations internally. A draft of the regulations will be placed on the district website (below) to gather feedback from our community and various stakeholder groups. The public will have one week to submit feedback to administrators on the draft regulations.
