CDC Travel Guidance

Guidance related to travel and quarantine after travel depends on immunization status and changes frequently. The Pennsylvania Department of Health does not currently have any specific guidance relating to travel. Travelers should follow all CDC guidelines and recommendations. Please refer to the below tables outlining ASDs guidance on travel based on the CDC’s guidelines.

Domestic Travel includes the United States and US Territories including Puerto Rico: CDC Website

International Travel: CDC Website

   Fully Vaccinated Not Vaccinated
 All travelers must show proof of a negative COVID-19  viral test before boarding a flight to the US taken no more than 1 day before travel or proof of recovery from a COVID-19 infection within the past 90 days

*You do NOT need to get tested if you have recovered from COVID-19 in the past 90 days. You should still follow all other travel recommendations. If you develop COVID-19 symptoms after travel, isolate and consult with a healthcare provider for testing recommendations.
