COVID-19 Vaccination Information

COVID Facts Banner Image

In ASD, we are committed to creating a culture where everyone feels safe, valued and nurtured. As we prepare to return to in-person instruction, the best protection from COVID-19 will be a combination of getting a COVID-19 vaccine, wearing a mask, practicing social distancing, and washing your hands often. No one tool alone is going to stop the pandemic.

The district will continue to share information here and via email about the benefits of COVID-19 vaccination so our community will be ready when a vaccine is recommended.

Vaccination & Phased Rollout Information

All vaccination opportunities offered by local healthcare providers will be communicated via email and on the district website through the staff portal. The links below take you to LVHN, St. Luke’s and Allentown Health Bureau sites to register. Currently, no documentation or school ID is required by St. Luke’s, LVHN or AHB.

We are currently in phase 1A. Staff age 65 and older and people age 16-65 with high risk conditions have been recently added to Phase 1A. The Pennsylvania  Department of Health and the available vaccine supply determines when we transition into phase 1B.
