Lighting the Way to Summer Learning and Exploration: Fun, Learning, and Growth for All Students

The Allentown School District is excited to offer a comprehensive summer program designed around our students' and families' needs and interests. We're committed to creating a fun, enriching, and meaningful experience that supports academic progress, social-emotional learning, and a smooth transition to the next school year. Together, we are ensuring our students engage in significant learning experiences.

Program Description

The Allentown School District is excited to offer Summer Program 2026, designed to help every student feel confident, supported, and ready for the new school year. This summer, students from early learning through high school will have access to engaging opportunities, including:

  • 🌱 Kindergarten Readiness Academy
  • ➗ Algebra Readiness
  • 🎓 Credit Recovery
  • 🎨 Arts, AI, and innovation-focused enrichment
  • 💼 Career exploration and internships (high school)
  • 💡 21st Century programming opportunities

Our “Lighting the Way to Summer Acceleration and Enrichment” schedule:

  • Summer Programming: Monday–Thursday, June 22, 2026 – July 23, 2026
  • 21st Century Programming: Monday–Thursday, June 22, 2026 – July 31, 2026
  • ESY: Monday–Thursday, June 6, 2026 – July 31, 2026

Locations: 

  • Available at neighborhood school across Allentown, unless otherwise communicated.

Program Hours

  • Elementary: 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
  • Middle & High School: 7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
