Allentown School District Adds New Staff for 2026

Allentown, PA – December 18, 2025– At its Thursday, December 18, 2025, Regular School Board Meeting, the School Board of Directors approved the appointment of three new administrators who will join the Allentown School District’s Learning Community in 2026. All three appointments reflect a continued commitment to bringing in experienced professionals with fresh perspectives and a strong track record of results. 

The following individuals have joined the Allentown School District:

  • Ms. Nicole Fisher has been named Director of Mathematics. Fisher joins the District with extensive experience as a math educator, instructional coach, and school-based teacher leader. She has supported the implementation of standards-aligned math curriculum, coached teachers in effective instructional practices, and facilitated professional learning focused on equity, engagement, and student achievement. As Director of Mathematics, Fisher will support efforts to strengthen math instruction, implement standards-aligned curricula, and build coherence across grade levels.
     
  • Paula Lindley Padilla has been appointed Special Education Supervisor. She brings a strong background in special education, life skills support, and inclusive practices, along with leadership certification at the PK-12 level. In her role, Padilla will support schools in delivering high-quality special education services and strengthening collaboration to meet the diverse needs of students.
     
  • Shelley Fairclough-Gumbs will join our 21st Century Program team as an Assistant Project Coordinator. She brings more than 20 years of experience in community-based programming and student support services, most recently serving as a Program Manager with Communities In Schools of Eastern Pennsylvania. In this role, she will support the expansion of high-quality extended learning opportunities for students and families.
