
ALLENTOWN, PA — The Allentown School District is proud to announce the appointment of two dedicated professionals to its leadership and program teams. These appointments reflect the District’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence, instructional coherence, and community engagement.
"As we enter peak hiring season and begin our strategic preparations for the fall, we are focused on bringing in the right talent to support our students' success," said Mr. Herman James, Chief of Talent Management & Labor Relations. "We are thrilled to welcome these two individuals to the Allentown family, as their expertise arrives at a critical time as we build the foundation for a strong upcoming school year."
Please join us in welcoming Dr. Tanishia Pride as Executive Director of Professional Learning and Meghan Raub as 21st CCLC Assistant Project Coordinator.
Dr. Tanishia Pride joins ASD with over a decade of experience in driving organizational transformation and leadership development. Most recently, she served as Principal & CEO at George E. Peters Adventist School in Maryland, where she achieved 100% staff retention and boosted student performance through targeted professional development. Dr. Pride holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction with a specialization in STEM Education from Texas Tech University.
Meghan Raub joins the 21st Century Learning Team with a strong background in human services and program coordination. Her previous experience includes serving as a Facilitator at Pinebrook Family Answers, where she engaged youth, families, and community stakeholders to ensure the highest level of client care possible. Ms. Raub earned her B.S. in Criminal Justice from West Chester University and holds specialized credentials in Trauma-Informed Care and De-Escalation.
These individuals were approved during the Thursday, March 26, 2026, Regular School Board of Directors meeting and will start with the District in the coming weeks.
