William Allen High School Students and Local Artist Unveil Collaborative Mural

Students and Local Artist Unveil Collaborative Mural

Allentown, PA – Over the past several weeks, local professional artist and entrepreneur Kyle Edwards collaborated with more than 150 10th-grade students from William Allen High School to design and install a vibrant mural in a heavily trafficked area of the school. Funded by GEAR UP, the project not only resulted in a stunning large-scale artwork but also educated students on the creative and professional opportunities within the art world.

The mural was officially revealed Friday, January 24, 2025. Participating students, their families, and Allentown City Mayor Matt Tuerk attended the celebration to honor the students’ creativity and hard work.

“This mural showcases the power of collaboration and demonstrates how art can inspire both personal growth and professional ambitions,” said Edwards.

Community members and media are invited to join the event at William Allen High School to celebrate this remarkable student achievement.
