Title IX
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (“Title IX”) prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in any federally funded education program or activity. Sex discrimination includes sex-based harassment, discrimination on the basis of sex, and retaliation related to complaints of sex discrimination. Sex-based harassment in unwelcome conduct which includes both sexual harassment, including but not limited to sexual assault, other forms of sexual violence and other sexual misconduct, and gender-based harassment. This applies to academic, educational, athletic, and residential programs.
In compliance with Title IX of the Education Amendment Act of 1972, the Allentown School District has designated Title IX Coordinators.
With regard to sexual harassment, a Reporting Form has been developed to ensure that incidents can be investigated promptly and thoroughly. If your child is involved in a sexual harassment incident, please submit the completed form to the building School Equity Coordinator (Principal), or Dr. Hollie Major Ramona at holliemajorr@allentownsd.org.

Commitment to Safe Learning Environments
The Allentown School District is committed to providing safe learning environments in which all students have equal access to our education programs and resources. In addition to our Non-Discrimination Policy, the District has adopted specific policies to prevent occurrences that can distract students from learning. Our Anti-Harassment Policy(Board Policy #248), including sexual harassment, and our Anti-Bullying Policy (Board Policy #249) describe the district’s position on these serious topics and outline specific procedures for reporting incidents.
