The Allentown School District has a responsibility to inform the public of the actions and services provided by its schools and administration. The District is committed to providing timely and accurate information to its constituents so that they have a better working relationship with the District and a clear understanding of the roles, objectives, accomplishments, and needs of the organization as it grows and changes. Two-way communication is required to be successful in reaching growth objectives for the betterment and academic progress of Allentown School District students.
We communicate to inform, persuade, recruit, recognize, promote attendance, encourage parental involvement, and celebrate our achievements.
Communications supports the Allentown School District, its schools, and numerous programs through a wide variety of communications and public relations services. We strive to assist the District and our schools with their communications needs through open and timely communications to their respective communities, as well as between our schools.

Social Media
The Allentown School District takes great pride in sharing the accomplishments of our students with our community!
The Allentown School District and all of its schools also actively use social media (Facebook, Instagram, and X/Twitter) to connect with our families. Photographs and videos of students may be used for classroom projects, the District website, or social media channels, in our print publications, and for other school-related purposes.
We also share great stories with our local media outlets for greater exposure in the Lehigh Valley and beyond.
Our website and official social media channels are a great place to find accurate and reliable information.
Follow the District and your child’s school to stay up to date!
