Mathematics

The Allentown School District Mathematics Department supports high-quality math learning and teaching across all of our schools. We develop curriculum and instructional resources, provide professional learning for educators, analyze student data to guide improvement, and partner with families and the community to build strong math mindsets. Our goal is to ensure every student gains the skills, confidence, and problem-solving abilities needed for success in school and beyond.

The Allentown School District’s K–5 Mathematics Program empowers young learners to explore, question, and build a solid foundation in mathematics. Through engaging lessons and hands-on experiences, students develop confidence, curiosity, and critical thinking skills that prepare them for future learning. Our program supports access for all students to a high-quality math education and encourages all students to reach their fullest potential.

Grades 6–8 Mathematics (Middle School)

The Allentown School District’s Grades 6–8 Mathematics Program prepares students to think critically, reason logically, and take on the challenges of higher-level math. Through a blend of engaging instruction and adaptive technology, students strengthen their problem-solving skills and build readiness for Algebra I. Our approach ensures that every learner receives meaningful support and opportunities to grow at their own pace.
