Parents who suspect that their child is gifted may request a gifted multidisciplinary evaluation of their child at any time, with a limit of one request per school term. The request must be in writing.
Identifying Gifted Students
- Students must be evaluated by a certified school psychologist.
- Students with an IQ of 130 or above automatically qualify for gifted services.
- Students can also qualify for gifted services if they meet other educational criteria that strongly indicate gifted abilities.
