Individuals should be tested for COVID-19. If they choose not to test, they must quarantine for 5 days from the onset of symptoms. The day symptoms started is counted as day 0. A mask must be worn for 5 full days upon return to school.
If the test is positive, individual must quarantine for 5 days from the onset of symptoms. The day symptoms started is counted as day 0. A mask must be worn for 5 full days upon return to school.
If the test is negative, individual may return to school after 24 hours of being fever free, without taking a fever reducing medication, and if symptoms have improved. Home tests are not accepted.

#4- Close contact of COVID-19 without symptoms per ASD Screening Tool

Depends on vaccination status:
If not vaccinated exclude from school
|
If fully vaccinated, or previously confirmed to have had COVID in the past 90 days may remain in school.
A mask must be worn for 10 full days. Monitor for symptoms. Test on day 5 after exposure.
If unvaccinated:
Quarantine for 5 days after the date of last exposure to the person with COVID-19. The day of last exposure to the positive case is counted as day 0. May return to school after 5 full days. Mask must be worn for 5 full days upon return to school.
If symptoms develop during the 5 days, follow the return to school scenario #3
This scenario does not apply in situations where the close contact is a household contact.

#6- Positive COVID-19 test without symptoms per ASD Screening Tool

Individual must quarantine for 5 days from the test day. The day the test was taken is counted as day 0. A mask must be worn for 5 full days upon return to school.

#7- Household member tests positive for COVID-19
|
Depends on vaccination status:
If fully vaccinated may remain in school - must mask, self isolate, continue to follow mitigation guidance and monitor for symptoms. Test on day 5 after exposure.
If not vaccinated exclude from school

If fully vaccinated, or previously confirmed to have had COVID in the past 90 days, but there is a positive case in the home:
Test day 5 after exposure, may remain in school. Must mask for 10 days.
If not vaccinated:
The unvaccinated, asymptomatic individual must quarantine for the 5 days of the positive household member’s isolation time frame PLUS an additional 5 days quarantine after that for a total of 10 days. Must mask for an additional 5 days upon return to school.
If an individual develops symptoms, or tests positive after having symptoms during the quarantine, they get 5 days from the date of their symptom onset. May return after 5 full days and must mask for 5 days upon return to school.
