Department Overview

The Office of Accountability and Assessment is responsible for:

  • reporting District data to the state and federal government;
  • managing data analysis for the District. Data is used to make instructional decisions, evaluate District programs, and plan for future years. The data analyzed includes PSSA scores, Keystone Exams, Study Island Benchmarks, enrollment, attendance and demographic;
  • coordinating administration of standardized tests, particularly the PSSA, Keystone Exams, Study Island Benchmarks, Classroom Diagnostic Tools;
  • reviewing all research projects ongoing in the District;
  • managing the District's student information system, Sapphire; and
  • ensuring equal access to education for all children;
  • managing District's student information system Sapphire;
  • approval of Community Web Portal (Sapphire) accounts;
  • Child Accounting
