Assessment Requirements

Students must are expected to demonstrate proficiency on the Literature, Algebra I, and Biology Keystone Exams. The Literature Keystone Exam will be administered at the end of English II. The Algebra I and Biology Keystone Exams will be given at the end of each respective course. For the graduating classes of 2017 and beyond, students must demonstrate proficiency on the Literature, Algebra I, and Biology Keystone Exams to be eligible for graduation, as required by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. A student who does not attain proficiency on the Keystone Exams in Literature, Algebra I and/or Biology, will be provided with remediation, and be given additional opportunities to re-take the Keystone Exams. and/or Pennsylvania project-based assessment.
